Our Mission Statement:

The Rules For Life was founded by 3 individuals who know they are not special. The founders’ mission is to simply bring awareness of how one’s actions may negatively affect other people. This site is a mechanism to solicit and discuss rules and to allow an organic consensus to be defined. We feel that if people spread the word and do their best to abide by and enforce the rules, it will allow us all to live a better, more enjoyable and unencumbered life.

How the site works:

Users at The Rules For Life.com can register with the site through the Login link above. Once registered, users can vote on Proposed Life Rules at the Proposed page which they think should become official Life Rules, listed on the site's homepage. For a new rule, 30 votes of at least an average score of 3 are needed to become an official Life Rule. If after 30 votes a rule's score is less than 3, the rule is banished to the Unacceptable page and voting rights are removed. Users can also post their own Proposed Life Rules at the Submit page and comment on all rules on the site. Author stats for the entire site are available on the Stats page.
